At grassroots music venues and open mic nights (including our own, where we first met singer/songwriter Dino Dini) Brighton exhibits a huge array of creative talent, and Dino brings them to the lounge each Wednesday to show their stuff

Dino starts the musical proceedings at 8, and each performer plays a set in turn before uniting for a jam session after 10pm - in which all Nautilus passengers are welcome, bring an instrument!

This Easter Weekend we're delighted (and privileged) to be bringing you an absolute live landslide at the lounge!

Dino Dini has been (ruthlessly) hunting down new music and musicians for his Wednesday Spotlight Nights for over a year; many of whom will be joining us for Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th.

For the Winter months, we're bringing forward our open mic sessions; which will now start at 5pm every Sunday. No more dragging yourself out of the house once night has already fallen, dreading the imminence of Monday morning!

Pianist and singer Robin Coward will be hosting as ever, and we're welcoming walk-ins as well as bookings - please drop us a line if you'd like to secure yourself a 20 minute showcase slot.

Dedicated to the love of great music (and great cocktails, of course) ours is perhaps Brighton's warmest and most nurturing open mic session; welcoming performers of all varieties: from pop-singalongs with karaoke backing, to acapella groups and spoken word poets; self-penned acoustic numbers, to tuba solos!

We're rigged up to play backing tracks or link your guitar to the PA, and (of course) you're welcome to make use of our baby grand; or simply come along and appreciate the range of talent on display!

Ian returns with the NAUTILUS PERPLEXER Quiz, this month we're picking out the April Fools to crown the trivia champions...

We'll torture your minds with fiendish trivia, picture and audio rounds, as you compete for the cash prize. Entry is £2 per person; maximum team size is 6 (although - as all regular quizzers know - an oversized team is mostly detrimental!)

Doors open at 7pm, and the quiz starts 8pm. We're expecting a crowd, and space is limited, so please reserve a table for your team in advance (just message us here or drop to the bar in person) to avoid disappointment!

StubbsJackson (aka Anthony Jackson-Stubbs) is back performing his extensive piano-vocal repertoire from 9pm at the lovely Nautilus Lounge.

This time, he'll be joined by gorgeous guitarist Oscar for a preview of the forthcoming original PALEDAY album, out July 18. (You can already hear 'Paleday - Love The Groove' and 'Paleday - Defects EP' on Spotify, Apple Music, etc). All with a laid back feel, good vibes, and a touch of humour, guaranteed to give you a good night out. FREE ENTRY from 7pm, show starts 9pm.
