Sunday open mic night is back, with pianist and singer Robin Coward hosting. We're open at 6pm so you can get some Dutch Courage or indeed have a quick practice/soundcheck before the crowds arrive, with performances officially beginning from 8pm.

Bank holidays are always busy, and we're celebrating a couple of birthdays - including young Sam, a familiar face from open mic -so it's going to be a lively one!

Dedicated to the love of great music (and great cocktails, of course) the night is probably Brighton's warmest and most nurturing open mic session; welcoming performers of all varieties: from pop-singalongs with karaoke backing, to acapella groups and spoken word poets; self-penned acoustic numbers, to tuba solos!

We're rigged up to play backing tracks or link your guitar to the PA, and (of course) you're welcome to make use of our baby grand; or simply come along and appreciate the range of talent on display!

Host Ian cements his credentials as a Dom top* via the confounding power of trivia, with a rather-naughty 'Daddy Knows Best' edition of the Nautilus Perplexer!

We'll torture your minds with fiendish trivia, picture and audio rounds, as you compete for the cash prize. Entry is £2 per person; maximum team size is 6 (although - as all regular quizzers know - an oversized team is mostly detrimental!)

Doors open at 7pm, and the quiz starts 8pm. We're expecting a crowd, and space is limited, so please reserve a table for your team in advance (just message us here on Facebook, or drop to the bar in person) to avoid disappointment!

Drop Dad Gorgeous are a Brighton-based covers band made up of dads, ex-professional musicians and men who are just one online guitar purchase away from a domestic intervention.

With a setlist that spans everything from Talking Heads to Taylor Swift, and plenty in between, they bring together crowd-pleasing classics, guilty pleasures and dancefloor favourites for a night of entertainment.
