Sunday open mic night is back, with pianist and singer Robin Coward hosting. We're open at 6pm so you can get some Dutch Courage or indeed have a quick practice/soundcheck before the crowds arrive, with performances officially beginning from 8pm

Dedicated to the love of great music (and great cocktails, of course) the night is probably Brighton's warmest and most nurturing open mic session; welcoming performers of all varieties: from pop-singalongs with karaoke backing, to acapella groups and spoken word poets; self-penned acoustic numbers, to tuba solos!

We're rigged up to play backing tracks or link your guitar to the PA, and (of course) you're welcome to make use of our baby grand; or simply come along and appreciate the range of talent on display!

Ian returns with the NAUTILUS PERPLEXER Quiz, this month our themed rounds have a sci-fi bent...

We'll torture your minds with fiendish trivia, picture and audio rounds, as you compete for the cash prize. Entry is £2 per person; maximum team size is 6 (although - as all regular quizzers know - an oversized team is mostly detrimental!)

Doors open at 7pm, and the quiz starts 8pm. We're expecting a crowd, and space is limited, so please reserve a table for your team in advance (just message us here on Facebook, or drop to the bar in person) to avoid disappointment!

At grassroots music venues and open mic nights (including our own, where we first met singer/songwriter Dino Dini) Brighton exhibits a huge array of creative talent, and Dino brings them to the lounge each Wednesday to show their stuff

Dino starts the musical proceedings at 8, and each performer plays a set in turn before uniting for a jam session after 10pm - in which all Nautilus passengers are welcome, bring an instrument!

Two of Brighton's finest singer/songwriters join forces tonight!

Alan has 5 albums, international tours, and sold out Brighton Fringe events under his belt; and peddles and intoxicating brand of theatrical folk-inspired piano-based storytelling.

Robin is a piano wizard, and veteran of the Brighton scene; with many hosting credits including our very own open mic night. He has released several EPs and performed at Glastonbury with his band Yourgardenday.

Alan and Robin will be performing from 9, with a mixture original music, quirky covers, and crowd-pleasers!
