We're all ship shape and Bristol fashion down here,
EDIT: It has come to our attention that there are a few malicious "booking sites" where it appears you can make reservations here at the Nautilus Lounge. We have never and will never use external booking sites for reservations, so please use the only ways to get in touch with us;
This website via the Contact Us page
Facebook (link at bottom of page)
Or why not just pop in so we can see your lovely faces?
We apologise for any confusion you may have experienced with "confirmed bookings" from these sites, and we are looking to get ourselves removed from these advert pushers! (Web ed: Notice WE don't have any adverts, the only thing we "shill" here is our wonderful award winning Lounge and Cocktails)
The Mercury has dropped a bit recently, hasn't it? It's all but made it's way out of the thermometer. But don't worry, you can warm your cockles in our undersea piano bar cocktail emporium, AND with all the entertainment coming in November you can be rest assured there is never a dull moment beneath the frosty waves of, errm, St James Street.
Dino Dini's Spotlight night every Wednesday, Lucy Pickering returns on the 1st (after Filthy Fridays), The Nautilus Perplexer with Ian on Monday 4th, Rob Lamont returns, a Nautilus debut by Jaz Nottingham, Col B the Pianoman, the ever wonderful Liam Joseph also drops in to give us some swing to the middle of November as well as Open Mic Night every Sunday hosted by Robin Coward... And with plenty more to come later in the month, check out our events page to keep up to date with what's going on, which is regularly updated by the ship's cat (owner / slave)
Remember, we have been and always will be open to ALL and we're ready to welcome you all aboard The Nautilus Lounge.
Our extensive range of cocktails and mocktails are available all year round from our menu. Why not compliment your cocktail or mocktail with a bowl of Nautilus Nibbles in our undersea emporium?

Hi,
Just wanted to say thank you for an awesome night this evening in your new look bar lounge. We came to your bar for the first time as the new Nautilus Lounge and the atmosphere was awesome, music brilliant and the drinks menu had a great selection!
We as a group enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and enjoyed chatting with the bar staff / waiters. Your waiting staff were so friendly and easy to chat to. The door man was polite and very welcoming.
As a member of Nursing Staff working for Public Health England / Contact Tracing Team it was so good to see your staff adhering to infection control way above and beyond guidelines and cleaning the areas as people left. That's vital as we all know at this stage, to adhere to these regulations.
Your bar is the only bar that I've been to that decontaminates hands when going in and checks temperatures of customers (in a positive way) going in to your bar. 100% hands up to you and all your staff for keeping us all safe tonight. Ooh and the new look was awesome. We will definitely be back!
Thanks again for an awesome night.
Andrew
PS. I forgot to mention the one way in / one way out system. I wouldn't have went to the bother of writing this out if I didn't feel strongly about it. Carry on what you guys are doing, it's great and makes the night feel much safer

It was the best bar we went to last night. Felt totally safe with a wonderful transformation and polite staff that wanted us to be there! Thank you for what you have done and thank you for keeping us safe.

Hi there,
Hope you are well and hearing great reviews about the new lounge. I recommended a couple of guys I've been chatting to on Twitter who are down for the weekend to go visit. They texted me to say they had a ball last night.
Now I can't wait to visit when I get back to Brighton next week. Hopefully you'll have enough time for a sherry, although Ian (One of our brilliant bar staff - ed) tells me the selection of gins is something special!
Stay safe and chat soon.

We have just said goodbye to friends who were visiting us for the weekend and on both days we visited the Nautilus Lounge for a cocktail or two (or three.....).
I have to admit that as someone who has loved the former incarnation of Nautilus for quite a few years I was initially not sure if it would work as a basement cocktail bar, but it does.....it absolutely bloody does. Steve and the team have done a cracking job with the space, it has an intimate and decadent feel to it, it could almost be a "speakeasy".
The cocktail menu is fabulous, and they are very well made, and the service from the guys in what is a really difficult time right now is absolutely superb. Will definitely be bringing more friends down those stairs soon. Subline may be gone, but the Nautilus Lounge is here and may many sail upon her decks.
Mark
